Visa for a job offer

Foreigners who have a job offer in Mexico must apply for a job offer visa. Some of the requirements to process this visa are:

1. That the person requiring the visa does not have a pending application for a temporary residence or visitor visa with permission to carry out paid activities.

2. The original document of the job offer on letterhead. It should indicate the occupation that the foreign person will develop, the required temporality, the place of work and the remuneration.

3. A copy of the Employer’s Registration Certificate duly updated.

4. To apply for a work visa you must have a prior authorization from INM (National Institute of Migration).

Family unit visa

This visa to migrate to Mexico can be obtained for two reasons. On the one hand, for having a direct Mexican relative or resident in the country. On the other hand, for marrying a person who meets any of the two requirements mentioned above.
